Public Holidays
Visa processing timelines may vary as per public holidays observed in both India and your intended destination country.
Passport
Valid for at least 6 months beyond the last intended departure date from Turkey.
Must contain at least 2 blank visa pages.
Should not have any alterations or handwritten amendments on the data pages.
Photograph
Two recent color passport-size photographs (2.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches high, without a border), taken within the last 3 months.
The applicant's full face must be clearly visible without any headgear.
Proof of Sufficient Funds for Travel
Provide a bank statement for the last 6 months, maintaining a minimum balance of 1,00,000 INR, signed and attested by a bank official if employed. If not employed, the bank statement of the sponsor is required.
If self-employed, provide the company's bank statement for the last 6 months.
All bank statements must be dated within the last week.
ITR (Income Tax Return)
Submit income tax return assessments for the last 3 years if employed. If self-employed, the income tax return of the company is required for the last 3 years unless it’s a proprietorship firm.
If the trip is sponsored by someone, provide the sponsor’s income tax return.
Accommodation
Provide a confirmed hotel voucher.
It is recommended to book a hotel with a cancellation policy in case your visa is denied.
If staying with a friend or relative, provide their local address in Turkey along with a copy of their ID proof.
Invitation
If invited from Turkey, provide the valid passport copy of the invitee, their financial documents (such as a bank statement), and an invitation letter specifying the purpose of the invitation.
Cover Letter
A covering letter from the applicant on A4-size paper (if employed), or on business letterhead (if self-employed).
NOC (No Objection Certificate)
NOC from the employer (if employed), along with a copy of the ID card or business card.
Minors require a consent letter from both parents, even if traveling with both. The consent letter must be notarized on stamp paper with photos of the parents and applicant.
Flight Ticket
Provide confirmed round-trip flight tickets to Turkey.
It is recommended to book tickets with a cancellation policy in case your visa is denied.
GST Copy
If self-employed, provide a copy of the GST registration.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory with coverage of at least 50,000 USD per person.
Insurance must cover all expenses, including repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical treatment, and hospital expenses.
PAN Card
Upload a copy of your PAN card.
Other Documents
Last 3 years' Form 16.
A copy of your Aadhar card.
All Indian passport holders must obtain a valid visa to enter Turkey.

How much bank balance is required for a Turkey visa?
If you are employed, you must provide the last six months' bank statement showing a minimum balance of 3,00,000 INR, signed and attested by a bank official. If you are not employed, you can provide the bank statement of the person funding your trip.
What can be done if my visa is rejected?
You can reapply for a new visa after 24 hours of the rejection. Ensure that your new application is complete, accurate, and authentic.
Is travel insurance mandatory for a Turkey visa?
Yes, travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD per person is mandatory when applying for a Turkey visa from India.
Should I book my flight and hotel before applying for a Turkish visa?
Yes, flight and hotel bookings are required before applying for a Turkey visa. However, we recommend making refundable bookings so that you can cancel without losing the full amount in case your visa is denied.
What are the types of Turkish visas available for tourism?
The standard sticker visa, available for both single-entry and multiple-entry, allows Indian citizens to stay in Turkey for up to 30 days and is valid for 90 days. If you hold a valid visa for the UK, US, Ireland, or Schengen Area, you can apply for a Turkey e-visa.
