Public Holidays
Visa processing timelines may vary as per public holidays observed in both India and your intended destination country.
Passport
Valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended date of departure from South Africa.
Must contain at least 2 blank visa pages.
No alterations or handwritten amendments on the data pages.
Photograph
Two recent color passport-sized photographs (35 mm wide x 45 mm high, without border), taken within the last 3 months.
The applicant’s full face must be clearly visible, without headgear, and against a plain white background.
Bank Statement
The applicant must provide a bank statement for the last 6 months, with a minimum balance of Rs. 75,000 or above, signed and attested by a bank official.
If self-employed, the company's 6-month bank statement is also required.
All bank statements must be dated within the last week.
Flight Ticket
Confirmed round-trip flight tickets to South Africa are required.
We recommend booking refundable tickets in case your visa is rejected.
Accommodation
A confirmed hotel voucher is required.
We suggest booking refundable accommodation in case your visa is rejected.
If staying with a relative or friend, provide their local address in South Africa, a copy of their ID proof, and an invitation letter from them.
Invitation
If on invitation, provide the invitee’s ID proof, a copy of their residence card, and an invitation letter, which must be attested by South African Police.
Cover Letter
A covering letter from the applicant on A4-sized paper (if employed) or on business letterhead (if self-employed).
NOC (No Objection Certificate)
NOC from the employer (if employed), along with a copy of the ID card/business card.
Salary slips for the last 3 months and a copy of the employment ID card.
GST Copy
If self-employed, the applicant must provide a copy of the GST registration.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory with coverage of at least 50,000 USD per person.
The insurance must cover all expenses, including repatriation for medical reasons, urgent medical attention, or emergency treatment in a hospital.
The insurance should cover the entire stay in South Africa.
Itinerary
A day-by-day itinerary detailing your travel plans on plain A4 paper, or if booked through a travel agent, it should be on their letterhead.
All Indian passport holders must have a valid visa to enter South Africa.
Each applicant must submit all the mandatory documents listed in the requirement tabs above.
In addition to the required documents, our visa experts or the concerned embassy may request additional documents to process your visa. Your prompt cooperation in providing these documents is crucial for a successful outcome.
If all documents are not available at the time of the agent's visit, additional charges may apply for a subsequent visit to your residence.
The visa fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the visa is approved or rejected.
