Visa processing timelines may vary as per public holidays observed in both India and your intended destination country.
Passport
Original passport issued within the last 10 years, including any old passports (if applicable).
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the last intended departure date from the Philippines.
Should contain at least 2 blank visa pages.
No alterations or handwritten amendments on the data pages.
Photograph
Two (2) recent passport-sized color photographs (2x2 inches, borderless).
Taken within the last 3 months.
Hats are not allowed, except for religious headgear.
Background must be plain white, with a matte or semi-matte finish.
Scanned or unclear photos will not be accepted.
Bank Statement
Applicant must provide a signed and attested bank statement for the last 6 months.
All bank statements should be dated within the last 1 week.
If the trip is sponsored by an employer, a company bank statement must also be provided.
Income Tax Return (ITR)
Last 2 years’ personal ITR.
No Objection Certificate (NOC)
A No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer.
Must be on official company letterhead, with an authorized signature and company seal.
If working remotely from another state, current mailing address proof is required.
Cover Letter
A cover letter from the applicant:
If employed: Written on A4-sized paper.
If self-employed: Must be on business letterhead.
GST Copy (For Business Owners)
Copy of the Company Registration Certificate if the applicant owns a business.
Travel Insurance
Mandatory travel insurance covering a minimum of €30,000 or $50,000 USD per person.
Must include coverage for:
Repatriation for medical reasons.
Urgent medical attention or emergency hospitalization.Insurance must cover the entire stay in the Philippines.
Flight Ticket
Confirmed flight reservations (India to the Philippines and return).
Accommodation Proof
Confirmed hotel booking or accommodation details.
If staying with friends or relatives, provide:
Invitation letter from the host.
Host’s ID proof, passport, or residence card copy.
Host’s financial documents (scanned and emailed copies are acceptable).
Other Required Documents
Aadhar card copy.
Vaccination certificate.
Visa applicants are strongly advised to finalize their flight bookings only after the visa has been granted.
Personal appearance is required at the New Delhi Jurisdiction for applicants from Delhi/NCR and North Indian states.
Personal appearance is not required for applicants from South & West Indian jurisdictions.
In certain cases, the Consulate may request an in-person interview.
Additional documents may be requested by the visa/consular officer as per requirements.
Students must provide a Certificate of Enrollment or a Letter of Acceptance from their school.

1. Can I travel to the Philippines if I am not fully vaccinated due to medical reasons and have a medical exemption document?
No. Under current regulations, only fully vaccinated foreign nationals with valid proof of vaccination are permitted to enter the Philippines.
2. Can I apply for a Philippine visa online?
Only specific nationalities are eligible to apply for a visa online.
3. Do Indian passport holders need a visa to travel to the Philippines?
Yes, Indian passport holders must obtain a pre-approved visa from the Philippine Embassy before traveling.
4. I tested positive in my pre-departure RT-PCR/ART test. Can I still travel to the Philippines?
No. Vaccinated travelers without a booster shot who fail to present a negative RT-PCR/ART test will not be allowed entry into the Philippines.
5. Is quarantine still required upon arrival in the Philippines?
No. Fully vaccinated foreign nationals are not required to undergo mandatory quarantine. However, they must self-monitor for seven days and report any COVID-19 symptoms to local authorities.
6. What can cause a visa application to be rejected?
Your visa may be rejected due to the following reasons:
Providing incorrect or false information in the application.
A criminal record or past legal issues.
Applying for a visa on short notice without a valid justification.
