Public Holidays

  • Passport

    • Original passport issued within the last 10 years

    • Must be valid for at least 6 months from the departure date

    • Should contain at least two blank visa pages


    Photograph

    • Two recent passport-sized color photographs (2 inches x 2 inches)

    • White background with a semi-matte finish and no borders


    Accommodation

    • A confirmed hotel voucher under the applicant’s name


    Flight Ticket

    • A confirmed round-trip flight reservation


    Proof of Sufficient Funds

    • Last 6 months’ bank statement, signed and attested by a bank official

    • The bank statement must be dated within the last week


    Itinerary

    • A detailed day-by-day travel plan on plain A4-sized paper

    • If booked through a travel agent, the itinerary must be on the letterhead of an Egyptian tour operator


    Cover Letter

    • A covering letter from the applicant on A4-sized paper (if employed)

    • If self-employed, the cover letter must be on business letterhead


    NOC (No Objection Certificate)

    • NOC from the employer (if employed)

    • NOC from the school/institute along with a photocopy of the student ID (for students/minors)


    Other Required Documents

    • Clear scanned copies of Aadhaar Card and PAN Card

    • A host confirmation letter from Egypt (if applicable)

  • Egypt Visa Guidelines for Indian Passport Holders

    • All Indian passport holders must obtain a valid visa before traveling to Egypt.

    • Applicants must submit all mandatory documents as specified in the requirement sections below.

    • The embassy or our visa experts may request additional documents during processing. Providing these promptly is crucial for a successful application.

    • If required documents are not ready at the time of the agent’s visit, additional charges will apply for a second visit.

    • Visa fees are non-refundable, regardless of approval or rejection.

    • Processing times are approximate and subject to change, along with visa fees.

  • Do I need to quarantine upon arrival in Egypt?
    Travelers who are fully vaccinated with two doses of any EMA-approved vaccine (Pfizer, Covishield, Moderna, AstraZeneca, etc.) and children under 12 years of age are exempt from quarantine upon arrival in Egypt.


    Is personal presence required for visa submission?
    No, currently, Egypt Immigration does not require applicants to be physically present for visa submission, as there is no biometric process in place.
