Visa processing timelines may vary as per public holidays observed in both India and your intended destination country.

  • 1. Passport

    • Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended departure date from Australia.

    • Should have no handwritten amendments or alterations in the data pages.


    2. Proof of Sufficient Funds

    • Last 6 months' bank statements are required.

    • If self-employed, the company’s 6-month bank statement must also be provided.

    • All bank statements must be dated within one week of application submission.


    3. Invitation Letter

    • If staying with relatives or friends, an invitation letter along with a copy of their ID proof is required.

    • If visiting for a medical emergency related to a daughter or daughter-in-law’s pregnancy, a letter from the hospital or doctor stating the patient’s condition is mandatory.


    4. Cover Letter

    • Applicants must submit a cover letter on an A4 paper or business letterhead detailing the purpose of the visit.


    5. Income Tax Returns (ITR)

    • Employed applicants: Last 3 years' income tax return (ITR) assessment.

    • If unable to provide ITR, either a salary slip or an NOC from the employer is required.

    • Self-employed applicants: Company’s last 3 years' ITR must be submitted.


    6. No Objection Certificate (NOC)

    • For employed applicants: NOC from the employer along with a copy of the ID card/business card.

    • OR salary slips for the last 3 months along with an employment ID copy.

    • For children under 18 years of age: A notarized NOC from any non-accompanying parent along with passport copies of both parents.

    • For students traveling with family: Proof of enrollment from their college/institute/school along with an NOC from the institution.


    7. Additional Documents

    • If a child below 18 years is staying in Australia with someone other than parents, legal guardians, or relatives, a signed declaration from the responsible person in Australia is required.

    • The caretaker’s valid ID proof/passport copy must also be submitted.


    8. Aadhaar Card

    • A valid Aadhaar Card must be uploaded as part of the application.

    • A valid visa is required for all Indian passport holders traveling to Australia.


    • Applicants must ensure they have all mandatory documents as listed in the requirements section.


    • In some cases, additional documents may be requested by our visa experts or the concerned embassy to facilitate the visa process. Providing these promptly is crucial for a successful application.

  • 1. When should I apply for an Australian visa?
    An Australian tourist visa is valid for three years from the date of issue. You can apply well in advance of your planned arrival.


    2. How long does it take for Indian travelers to get an Australian visa?

    • Tourist Visa: Processing time is approximately 10-14 days.

    • Business Visa: Processing takes around 20-25 business days.


    3. Do I need to attend an interview for an Australian visa?
    No, an interview is not required for Indian applicants applying for an Australian tourist visa.


    4. Should I book my flight before applying for an Australian visa?
    No, it is not necessary to book flights or accommodation before your visa is approved.


    5. What is the minimum bank balance required for an Australian tourist visa?
    You must provide bank statements from the last six months showing a minimum balance of AUD 5,000 (approximately INR 2.5-3 lakhs) per visa application.
