Public Holidays

  • Passport

    • Must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure from Australia.

    • Should have at least two blank visa pages.

    • No alterations or handwritten changes on the data pages are allowed.


    Photograph

    • Recent (within the last three months) color passport-size photo (35mm x 45mm) with no border.

    • The applicant's full face must be clearly visible without any headgear.

    • The background must be plain white.


    Proof of Sufficient Funds

    • Bank statements for the last six months (both savings and current accounts), signed and attested by a bank official.

    • If self-employed, a six-month bank statement of the company is also required.

    • All bank statements must be dated within the last week.


    Invitation

    • An official invitation letter from the inviting company, stating the purpose of the visit.

    • Must be on the company’s letterhead and signed by an authorized representative.


    Income Tax Returns (ITR)

    • Income tax return assessments for the last three years.


    No Objection Certificate (NOC)

    • If employed: NOC from the employer along with a copy of the employee ID or business card.

    • Alternatively, the last three months’ salary slips along with a copy of the employment ID.


    GST Copy (For Self-Employed Applicants)

    • A copy of the GST registration certificate.

    • Indian passport holders must obtain a valid visa before traveling to Australia.


    • Each applicant must provide all mandatory documents listed in the requirements section.

    The Australian tourist visa is valid for three years from the date of issue, so you can apply well in advance of your planned travel date.


    2. How long does it take to process an Australia visa for Indian travelers?

    • Tourist Visa: Typically processed within 10-14 days.

    • Business Visa: Takes around 20-25 business days for approval.


    3. Do I need to attend an interview for an Australian visa?
    No, an interview is not required for an Australian tourist visa from India.


    4. Should I book my flight before applying for an Australia visa?
    No, it's not necessary to book flights or accommodations until your visa is approved.


    5. What is the minimum bank balance required for an Australian tourist visa?
    You must provide proof of sufficient funds. Your last 6 months' bank statements should show a minimum balance of AUD 5000 (approximately 2.5-3 lakhs INR) per visa application.
