Passport

• Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended departure date from Australia.

• Should contain at least 2 blank visa pages.

• No alterations or handwritten amendments in the data pages are allowed.

Photograph

• Recent colored passport-size photograph (35mm x 45mm, without a border), taken within the last 3 months.

• The applicant’s full face must be clearly visible without headgear.

• The background must be plain white.

Flight Ticket

• Both arrival and departure flight tickets are mandatory for an Australia transit e-visa application.

Proof of Sufficient Funds

• Last 6 months’ bank statement is required.

• Self-employed applicants must also provide their company’s 6-month bank statement.

• All bank statements must be dated within the last 1 week before application submission.

Invitation Letter

• If staying with relatives or friends, provide an invitation letter along with a copy of their ID proof.

• If visiting due to a medical emergency (such as a daughter or daughter-in-law’s pregnancy), a hospital/doctor’s letter stating the patient’s condition is required.

Cover Letter

• A cover letter must be provided on A4 paper or business letterhead.

Income Tax Returns (ITR)

• Employed applicants must submit Income Tax Return (ITR) assessments for the last 3 years.

• If unable to provide ITR, a salary slip or NOC from the employer must be submitted.

• Self-employed applicants must submit their company’s ITR for the last 3 years.

GST Copy (For Self-Employed Applicants)

• Self-employed applicants must provide a copy of their GST registration.

Other Required Documents

• For children under 18 years staying in Australia with someone other than their parents, legal guardians, or relatives:
  A declaration signed by the responsible person in Australia.
  A copy of the caretaker’s valid ID proof or passport.

Aadhaar Card

• A valid Aadhaar card must be uploaded as part of the application.
